🌾 Arizona 5 C’s Farm Tours at Superstition Farm
Hands-On Agriculture • Education • Fun
Looking for a fun, affordable, and educational field trip? Whether you’re a small homeschool group or a large public school, we can accommodate up to 200 guests!
Our farm tour is inspired by Arizona’s Five C’s and brings learning to life through hands-on experiences.

🐐 Petting Zoo & Cattle Experience (Cattle)
Students feed, interact with, and groom our rescue animals while learning about livestock and ranching. Animals may include goats, calves, donkeys, chickens, tortoises, bunnies, potbelly pigs, and more. (Animals vary.) -
🌱 From Cotton to Clothes (Cotton)
Students learn where clothes come from and how cotton is grown. They pull seeds from raw cotton, prepare them for germination, and place them in a planting bag. Body heat helps activate the seed, which can later be transferred to a pot or school garden. -
🍋 Citrus & Lemonade Experience (Citrus)
Students learn how citrus is grown in Arizona and squeeze fresh citrus to make their own lemonade. -
🔶 Copper & Coin Savings Lesson (Copper)
Every student receives a penny while learning why Arizona is known as the Copper State and the importance of saving money.
Optional $5 upgrade: Students choose a 1 Troy oz copper coin from a treasure chest and learn how saving and collecting can build long-term value. -
☀️ Farming in the Arizona Climate (Climate)
Students learn how Arizona’s climate affects farming, including the importance of sun, heat, and water management in the desert. -
🥛 Farm Fresh Milk Bar
Enjoy a fresh cup of pasteurized milk, with optional flavor mix-ins. -
🧺 Picnic on the Farm
Bringing a lunch is optional but encouraged. Enjoy a picnic under our shaded Ramada. -
🍦 Udder Delights Ice Cream Bar
Each student enjoys homemade vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
No Little Farmer Left Behind — dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options available when needed. -
🛍️ Farm Boutique
Visit our farm boutique for locally made items and souvenirs to remember your day on the farm.
Tours are staffed based on quantity given at time of reservation. Please notify Superstition Farm at least 48 hours prior to your reserved field trip time if quantity will be different than given when reserved . Please notify staff if there are special circumstances that may be needed for your group.
